Gwinnett Medical Center’s History
Gwinnett Medical Center is a not-for-profit healthcare network that provides a wide array of high-quality services and facilities to Gwinnett and the metro Atlanta area. With roots that go back more than 65 years, Gwinnett Medical Center now includes two spacious, patient-centric hospitals—in Lawrenceville and Duluth—additional supporting medical facilities and more than 4,100 employees and 800 affiliated physicians.
Our Total Joint Program uses a multidisciplinary approach so our patients can recover and get back to their lives more quickly. Our staff works with each patient and their family to develop an individualized plan of care. And our dedicated orthopedic coordinator provides each patient with all of the information a patient needs throughout the surgical process and beyond.
